Karting Mayhem
So this is just a little visual thing using the Unity plugin. If you dont have it yet get it from unity3d.com. We will use this pluging also for the online edition. If you have trouble installing.. Google a bit :). It works on my laptop running vista and firefox.
Anyway. We also have a request for you guys. We would like to add some sound to the Kart. Now there are some good engine sounds available online but we kinda need a set of royalty free idle, pull-up, full speed. slowdown and skidding sounds. If anyone has a pack please let us know :).
Jay just added drifting to the current setup and is tweaking some bits. we hope to stick it online asap.
Ah and off course thanks for all your comments we understand and really appreciate your thoughts, it is what keeps us going.

No need to look for the plugin; it comes up automatically when you click on the above link, without the plugin installed ;)
Anyway, the animations look good! I’m starting to get a little excited again about it all - and you can count on me testing it out and giving you my feedback on it all!

Also, using Blender, are you just making the maps normally, like you would with a mechanical object, or building design, THEN importing it into other software for the AI’s pathing, etc? Since yeah, I’ve finished studying AutoCAD (basically the same as Blender) 3D, designing houses, and other architectural structures, and could possibly make a map or two for my favourite game company, if I get a moment! ;)

The kart looks fun.. I really wonder if you can show something of the track?
But i wonder what you wanne do with this in game? Is the kart some game mode? Or you can get a kart in the game?

I’d say cut your losses and delete the FL registry entry - this is why you back things up, you know? :p
Or alternatively, try using System Restore (Start Menu -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools) and restore it to the closest time to when you made the registry changes - that should fix it up for ya. ;)

te weps should only appear when you use them, like when you shoot, the minigun pops out and then shoots etc.

not try and cheat… seriously, play it through yourself. It’s actually quite easy. I just finished Village on Extreme and got every Steam achievement :)
But seriously guys, this looks awesome and FL is AMAZING. I only bought it yesterday and I love it. So does my brother.
Hope to see a multiplayer soon. Don’t mind paying a little extra, but hopefully it’s under $5 or cheaper for FL owners :)
